Ambush

[Shizuka]

"Calm down Daxter... pulling your fur won't do anything to make you cuter.", Arriana said between laughs. Jak was silently laughing harder than before.

[Xazz]

"Ohh, you! All of you. Can't you see his pure evilness?!"

[Shizuka]

"Now how can something like Tucker be evil? Seriously Daxter...", a voice came in from behind Teacher. There stood Myra, her bow pulled over her shoulder, the quivver full of arrows on her back and her dagger, sheathed on her hip.

[Xazz]

"Look at it! Its' to cute to not be evil," he said pointing acusingly at Tucker.

"Hey," said Ryn with a wave at Myra. Jak waved as well.

[Shizuka]

"Hi. Get a grip Daxter, just because Tucker's cuter than you doesn't give you any reason to say he's evil.", replied a sassy Myra.

Arriana's laugher died down to a giggle.

[Xazz]

"Yeah, no need to be jelouse."

[Shizuka]

"You can't see the evilness in his eyes like I can! I tell you, he's evil!", Daxter said.

"Again, Daxter, no need - ", Myra started to say but was inturrupted by Arriana. Arriana had stood up, walked over and touched Myra on her shoulder.

"It's no use.", she whispered to the younger girl.

[Xazz]

"Don't you two have somthing you should be doing right now?" asked Teacher. "Cause I swore I heard Ivy the geologist complaining about some kids not covering their part of the bargin," said Ryn. "Am I right?" she asked.

Jak nodded and swept Daxter up onto his shoulder. He nodded to the three women and ran off.

"That was easy," said Ryn and she giggled childishly.

[Shizuka]

[Xazz]

"So Myra, what's with the bow? Hunting are we?"

[Shizuka]

"Yes, I've been hunting... the Lurkers around here at least.", Myra replied and walked over to Teacher, sitting down. Arriana did the same, completing the 'triangle' of people.

[Xazz]

"Have they done somthing wrong to you?" Ryn asked the young girl.

[Shizuka]

"Well... one of them attacked me when they all came at me, but I didn't get a good look at how long it's wings were.", she repiled.

"How many did you bring down?", asked Arriana.

"One. I got lucky when it attacked me again."

[Xazz]

"I see," said Ryn steeping her fingers. "I feel bad for them... having to obey that monster."

[Shizuka]

"Gol?", Arriana asked, looking over at Teacher. Myra just sat where she was, listening intently to everything. She really didn't feel like getting attacked again, whether or not Teacher was nearby.

[Xazz]

"Yeah... you could say that."

[Shizuka]

Both girls nodded their heads.

[Xazz]

"But- nah, your both to young," she said and waved off whatever she was going to say.

[Shizuka]

"What? What were going to say?", Arriana asked.

[Xazz]

"I was going to say somthing?" Ryn asked pointing at herself. "I was?" she said confused.

[Shizuka]

The girls nodded their heads. "You were going to say something about Gol.", Myra said.
