Ambush

[Xazz]

"Hey, Jak?" the osstle asked. Jak looked up at his mutated friend as if to say 'yeah?' "You feel like we're being watched?" he asked. Jak shook his head. "Well I do... and you know how animal instincts are-" Jak smiled lightly and shook his head as he walked towards the small lagoon on the other side of the temple. "Will you at least keep an eye out?" Dax asked figiting a bit. Jak rolled his eyes but nodded none the less. Daxter sighed in relief.

"You're mine," she whispered to herself from above them keeping low to the ground. "Three..." Jak got closer, "two..." he was almost right under her, "one!" She lept at Jak tackeling him to the ground. "Jak-u!!!!" She yelled and wrapped her arms around the boy who looked scared enough to faint.

Daxter... well he had fainted. Falling off of Jak's shoulder and slumping onto the ground. "Ahhh, Jak-u," said Teacher buring her face in Jak's blonde-green hair as she sat shoving him onto her lap. Jak looked a bit pissed at the whole thing. As it wasn't everyday he got jumped so easily... but then this was Teacher. He learned everything from her, so of course there was things she knew he didn't. Still ticked him off, he hated being surprised like this. Expecially by his teacher!!

Daxter was now coming around. He looked up grogily at the two Jak sitting in between Teacher's legs her face in his hair. And of course, he wouldn't be Daxter if he didn't, he made asumpiotions. "Man, you two! Get a room!" and he covered his eyes. It took Jak exatly two seconds to lash out his arm and grab Daxter by the neck before throttling him his face screaming, 'how could you think that!'

Teached laughed and leaned back on her elbows. "To young for me," she laughed.

((Don't blame me, this just popped up in my mind at school. And you know what that place does to me!!))

[Shizuka]

She just kept on walking until she came upon Teacher. "Well, it's been a long time since I've seen you, Teacher. How've you been?", asked Arriana. She had just seen what Teacher had done to Jak and was trying to hold the laughter back.

[Xazz]

"Ah, Arriana," said Teacher with a grin. "Come now Jak-u, let Daxter go. No need to strangle your best friend," she said tapping him on the arm. Jak did so his face still sour.

[Shizuka]

Arriana chuckled at the sight. Ever since she could remember, she had known the two boys forever. "I hope that changes when the two grow up.", she said. Daxter hit the ground with a thump, and gasping, turned and glared at his best friend.

"What the heck are ya tryin' to do? Kill me?", Daxter asked, getting up and brushing himself off.

[Xazz]

Jak gave Daxter a look that said 'keep saying crap like that and I just might!' Teacher laughed and stood up. "Your reflexes are getting slack Jak-u. Havn't you been practicing?" she asked. Jak looked up at her with a guilty look, though he did his best to hide it.

[Shizuka]

"Nah, I wouldn't think so.", Daxter replied. "Oh, I would think so... I mean, why else would someone who's usually passive be strangling his best friend? Or was it because of what you said, Daxter?", Arriana said, looking down at the ottsel.

[Xazz]

"Really need to learn to keep your mouth shut," said Teacher. "Though I have no doubt it will one day come in handy... maybe."

[Shizuka]

Arriana chuckled at the that thought. "I doubt it."

[Xazz]

"I said it was a maybe."

[Shizuka]

"Well... eh, let's just drop it. Besides stalking Jak and his friend, what else are you doing here?", Arriana asked. By now, Jak and Daxter had gone off in some other part of the basin.

[Xazz]

"I wasn't stalking. I was training," said Teacher. 'He may have 'graduated' since Dax got turned into a talking weasle. But he still has plenty to learn. As today showed. TO cocky, thinks he knows everything, need to work on that," she said thoughtfully.

[Shizuka]

"Ah, I see.", Arriana replied, and looked around just in time to see one of the electric moles poke its little head out the hole in the ground.

[Xazz]

"Those things look like Daxter," said Teacher and pounced on it. She wrestled it out of the hole and gently held it.

[Shizuka]

Arriana walked over to Teacher, reached out to pet it, but took her hand back. She remembered what these moles could do and slowly reached out her hand, leting the mole become acustomed to her. Finally, she gently stroked the creature and laughed lightly.

[Xazz]

"You just need to know how to calm 'em," said Teacher and lighting danced along the tips of her fingers.

[Shizuka]

"So I see.", Arriana said, and kept her fingers from reaching the electricity.

[Xazz]

Teacher grinned at seeing Arrian's relutance to touch her hand. "Its only eco Arrian," said Teacher. "Nothing more," and the Lightning mole burried its head into her chest.

[Shizuka]

"I know, but still...", she said and finally reached out just as another mole poked it's head out. There was no wrestling with this one as it came out and nuzzled Arriana. She looked down, bent to pick the mole up (with no trouble at all), and started to pet it. This one was even softer than the other one.

[Xazz]

"Sit," said Teacher and more moles started to poke their furry noses out of there holes.

[Shizuka]

And sit Arriana did. As she did, the moles that poked their heads out started to climb out and nuzzle both Arriana and Teacher.

[Xazz]

"Lightning," Teacher whispered to herself running her hand along the mole's backs. They arched them as blue lightning lept from her finger tips to their fur.
