Ambush

[Xazz]

"Lets see," said Teacher.

((I almost typed her real name... that would have been bad XD))

[Shizuka]

((you've done that once... personally, i don't think it matters, as long as she doesn't say it out loud.))

The two watched as Jak tried his best to figure out the puzzle... but didn't take long to stop what he was doing. He looked over at Teacher and Arriana in a way that just screamed for help.

[Xazz]

"Well, my turn," said Teacher. "Coming Jak-u!" she yelled and started walking towrads him. She hummed a bit as she passed under the tunnel that led to the other part of the Basin.

[Shizuka]

He waited paitently for Teacher to make her way over there.

[Xazz]

"Hey Arriana arn't you coming!" Teacher called back to the younger channeler.

[Shizuka]

She started walking over. Jak waited for Arriana as well.

[Xazz]

"Now, what seems to be the problem Jak-u?" Teacher asked in a grandmotherly kinda voice.

"Oh, stop that Teacher, can't you see you're making Jak blush?" and indeed the blonde was blushing.

"So? I've known him since he was a baby, I can poke some fun at him," and she pinched his cheek affectionetly. He batted her hand away and she giggled.

[Shizuka]

Arriana giggled as well. Jak looked back at Teacher and then at the plants he was having trouble with.

[Xazz]

"Oh, I see," said Teacher as if Jak had just spoken to her. "Well, did you try running through them with Green?" He nodded. "What about touching a bunch at a time?" he nodded once more. "Well what about letting the Green eco seep out of you into the ground?"

Jak looked confused, he turned to Arriana, but she looked as confused as him. But then Teacher didn't expect either of them to know, she had discovered that little thing one day on accident.

She sighed. "Alright, stand back Jak-u," she said and stood next to the small feild of infected plants. She held her hand out to the Green vent a few dozen feet away. After a moment of standing there the Green eco started to trickle to her hand flying across the distance in gracful loops.

Once she was glowing with the stuff she faced the plants and spread her legs out so she had a better anchor. Then the Green light began to fade. But as it did the ground glowed and the Dark plants dissapeard.

Five minutes later it was nothing but clean green grass. "That was easy," she said and stretched her hands behind her back, but stopped suddenly. "Damn it!" she cursed. "All that eco down the drain," she muttered to herself.

[Shizuka]

Arriana stood there, amazed at what Teacher had done. "Well... I think you should thank Teacher for that.", she said to Jak, who nodded his head. He looked over at Teacher and smiled.

[Xazz]

"Aww your welcome Jak-u," she said and wrapped him into a hug. He looked slightly disgusted, but Daxter looked kinda dazed as being right at the right height.

[Shizuka]

Arriana giggled at the sight and at Daxter.

[Xazz]

"Daxter," Teacher warned at the osstle as he stared at her... ahem!

"Huh," Daxter said and saw Teacher glaring at him. "What!?"

[Shizuka]

Arriana's giggle turned into a full blown laugh. Even Jak was smiling at his friend's stupor in where he was looking.

[Xazz]

"Daxter get your eyes off my goods!" Teacher yelled and slapped the osstle off Jak's shoulder. "Even now he's a effing perv," Teacher muttered darkly to herself so no one heard her.

((I almost did it again!!))

[Shizuka]

((just put her real name... the rest of them don't even know it anyways... except for Samos.))

Arriana was on the ground, laughing hard. Jak was starting to laugh as well. How could someone not?

[Xazz]

((yeah... but I can't. I'm making myself write it like that so when I get around to my story with her in it it isn't so hard))

Or he was trying to laugh, as it was kinda hard when your a mute. Plus Teacher still had him in a hug. But she let him go and he fell over shaking in silent laughter. Teacher folded her amrs across her chest a scowl on her face.

She looked old when she wasn't smiling. And that made Jak stop laughing when he saw his teacher looking so old. He looked confused, but Teacher wasn't even paying attention to the three anymore.

[Shizuka]

((okay... that's just a little odd...))

Arriana's laughter died down to a silent giggle. That's when she looked over at Teacher. Her laughter died away completely when she saw Teacher this way.

[Xazz]

"I- I need some time," said Teacher and looked away from the three. Before they could say anything she walked away quickly. Jak swore he saw tears in her eyes.

[Shizuka]

Arriana looked over at Jak who looked back at her almost as if he were saying "Best if we don't bother her...". Both of them looked over at Daxter who was staring at the two in confusion.

"Let's let Teacher be.", she said and sat down in the same spot where the plants were.

[Xazz]

"Geeze, what's her problem?" Daxter asked.
