Ambush

[Xazz]

((I have no idea what kind of noise these things make)) ((we had one running rampit on our campus. Also they are night animals... but Tucker is a day one :3))

He chirped at Arriana sniffing her. She smelled like Ryn. He hesitantly went to her, reaching out one of his fingered paws.

[Shizuka]

She took it, and smiled. Animals were one of her secret favorites that she told no one... but this was Teacher's pet, which was a whole different story. Almost like Jak and Daxter...

[Xazz]

It chirped and clambered onto her arm. He was about the size or Daxter, but much lighter with pale brown fur and a lot more skin around his frame.

[Shizuka]

She let him into her arms and started to gently stroke him. A light chirp that sounded almost like a purr came from the little creature.

[Xazz]

Daxter was glaring at Tucker. He crawled down Jak's arm so he could be right in the little monkey's face. "Hey, listen you," he said. "There's only room here for one cute, hairy animal, and that's me," he growled.

[Shizuka]

Arriana glared at the ottsel before saying Daxter's name with a very annoyed tone of voice.

"What? Seriously, there's only room for one cute, fuzzy animal, and it's me!", Daxter protested.

"This world is big enough for two fuzzy animals. Besides, he doesn't talk back like you.", she said, still stroking the creature.

[Xazz]

Tucker chittered for a moment, then looked over at Daxter. The osstle swore he saw the kinkacho give him a smug supiror look. "He's pure evil I tell you," he hissed.

[Shizuka]

((that was good...))

Arriana rolled her eyes, shaking her head side to side lightly. "I swear, I'll never, ever understand you Daxter.

[Xazz]

((I got that off of cartoons I've seen))

"Okay, pull it together Ryn," she said slapping her cheeks so she would snap back to herself. She sniffed and looked up at the sky, wiping her tears from her eyes.

He chittered and crawled up Arriana's arm till he sat on her shoulder, and rubbed his face on her cheek.

"I've never seen Tucker without Teacher," said Jak waving his fingers around.

[Shizuka]

Arriana nodded her head in agreement. "Neither have I, but Tucker seems to think I'm her, or at least - hey! Tucker!", she batted his tail out of her face, "I smell like her."

[Xazz]

"Maybe, but Teacher smells like Teacher," said Jak.

"And just how would you know?" Daxter asked. Jak turned a deep red. "Ouuuu...w-"

"Not like that your pervert!" Jak said quickly in his version os a snapish voice.

[Shizuka]

Arriana giggled at what Jak was saying. Now she remembered why the two were together: they basically kept each other in line. Again, she was dealing with Tucker's tail being in her face. "Tucker, in my lap.", she said.

[Xazz]

Tucker jumped down and curled up on Arriana's knee.

"I mean is that she's always close by. Ready to like jump me... so yeah I know how she smells. Plus she just tackled me like five mintes ago you little perv minded rat!" said Jak.

"Hey that hurts buddy," said Daxter.

"And so does it when you say stuff like that."

[Shizuka]

Arriana kept of watching the two boys duke things out in the verbal/nonverbal argument. She sighed, shaking her head. "When will they ever grow up?", she muttered so quietly only she knew what she said.

[Xazz]

"Hey dudes!" said a cheery voice. They all turned and saw Teacher. Tucker squeaked and leaped off of Arriana's knee running over to his owner and crawling up onto her shoulder.

[Shizuka]

Both Jak and Arriana smiled, but still had a worried look in their eyes. As Teacher got closer, they hid it further and further into their minds until it didn't even seem like they were worried.

[Xazz]

"Hey, what's up?" she asked and sat down cross legged. It looked like nothing had ever been bothering her.

[Shizuka]

"Nothing, just waiting for you. Tucker found us, as you see.", Arriana said. Daxter was still in the same place he had been in, only he looked as if he were scowling at Tucker.

[Xazz]

"Yeah, he must have fallen off when I tackled Jak-u," said Ryn and she grinned. "Hey, stop with the glaring Daxterm it isn't Tucker's fault he's better looking the you."

[Shizuka]

Arriana couldn't help but snicker at that. Not even Jak could keep from shaking with silent laughter.

[Xazz]

"Why... that lil... what... who... argh!!!" Daxter said almost ripping part of his fur on his head.
