"You know Teran, it isn't against the rules to talk while you eat," said Mia next to him. Around the table was friendly chatter, but as before Teacher kept her eyes mostly on Teran while talking with the other three.

Teran looked over at her, and smiled. "Okay." He said, taking in another spoonful of his stew. He tried to listne to the conversations going on and jump in.

Mia shoved him. "Don't mind her, its her specialty to make people unfomfortable," and she held her bowl out to her grandmother. "Gran, more please," at the same time both Poppa and Thom did.

Teran looked up, and laughed as the family all asked for more at the same time. "Rather coincidental, no?" He said.

Gran laughed. "Yes, I would say so," and she snatched up each of their bowls ladeling more soup into them. Then she passed them back out.
"Nothing is coincidence," Techer said to herself and slurped up the remainder of her soup.

Teran sighed inwardly. Was it really worth getting into discussion over? Maybe he could use it to show he wasn't a hermit... "Things can be a coincidence." He said.

"Not when they are planned, more sou Annie," said Teacher to Gran. Gran abloged. Teacher didn't look down at her food, she stared at Teran with, almost hungry, predetory eyes. "This always happen for a reason. Everything is planned... no matter what it is," and she took a sip of her soup.

"Sadly... Samos told me Jak almost died... again, have to give him a lecture before he falls asleep," and she walked out ruffling the three younger elve's hair and Tucker chirped his goodbye.

Teran, against his better judgement, attempted to mimic Tucker's chirp goodbye. When he realized what he'd done, his face flushed red and he looked down at his hands again.

"Yes, put your bowl in the sink Thomsan," said Poppa.
He nodded and got up. "Same?" Mia asked. "I have to work on some things for the Blue."
"Go ahead," said Poppa and Mia got up.
