Halfway to the marauder stronghold they were ambushed by wastlanders. A bunch of them, around 10 or so of them. Two of the marauder buggies were destroyed in a matter of a few seconds and the one that the girls was in got flipped over.
The twins wiggled from the metal cage they were trapped in. Each drawing their weapon of expertease. Ryan a rather powerful Assault rifle and Eric a colapsable scythe.

Alice got out but didn't bother taking out her weapon.
"Three, two, one..." she counted down with a bored look on her face. On cue, a chorus of howls sounded from over the nearest sand dune. Half a second later a pack of fifty or so necrolycs, most easily three times as big as Chesire, sprinted into view. Ten of the group broke off and circled protectively around Alice and the others while the rest attacked the Wastelanders. Body parts and blood flew everywhere.
"They aren't exactly the neatest of predators..." Alice remarked lightly as she watched the carnage that was going on around her with a calm demeanor.

Behind their masks the marauders looked slightly green. But Eric and Ryan observed witha calm deminor such like Alice's. Ryan was really one who would have been discusted, but for some reason she wasn't.

The Necrolycs finished with the Wastelanders and all but four disapeared over the sand dunes. One of the ones that remained, a monstrous twelve foot tall male with scar riddled fur and a blind left eye, walk up to Alice.
"<Nice timing, Dred>" Alice said, scratching the monster behind his ears. He made what sounded like a purr.
"<Do you really think that we'd let such a good hunt get away? Besides, you elves are hardly capable of taking care of yourselves>" Dred replied.

Ryan said somthing to Eric in a whisper and Eric said somthing back. What it really was they only knew. After a quick quiet conversation they nodded.
