"Oh, shut up Chesire," snapped Eric. Not in a good mood at all. She then said somthing in the same language that her sister had talked to her in to the beast and he backed off. Not liking what he heard from her.

Alice said something to Chesire in her gibberish language and he answered her with several growls. She said something else and he seemed content. He sat down next to her and gave Eric a 'grin', as if he was privy to some secret that she didn't know.

Eric ignored Chesire. "If we can get going cherries? Now that your done," Sig half asked half demanded.
"Yeah," said Eric almost grudginly as if she still wanted to slice one of Alice's finger off; wich she did.
Without another word Sig started the buggie and swerved it so that they raced along next to the wall, heading for the wastland.

They arrived in the Wastland. Sig stopped the buggie and the twins, Alice and Chesire got out. "Call me when you need the ride home," said Sig.
"You won't have to, we're going to Kras after this and the marauders are going to be taking us," said Eric evenly. Sig raised one of his borws, but he nodding anyway.
"So to the south or the east?" Ryan asked her sister.
They looked at each other. "East," they said at the same time and began walking along the hot desert sand.

Alice followed at a distance, knowing that she wasn't exactly welcome in their company. Instead, she conversed with Chesire. He was in a extremely happy mood, due to the fact that he was in his natural habitat. He ran to the top of a large rock and let out a howl that made their skin crawl and their hair stand on end. After a few moments of silence, several faint howls were heard in the distance, answering Chesire's. He bounded happily back over to Alice.
"<You didn't have to do that, you know. I doubt the others will exactly be happy about our pack running around>" Alice told Chesire in her gibberish speak.
"<Don't worry. They're not going to harm them. Unless that one girl tries to cut your finger off. She might be tough, but I doubt she'll be able to stand up against the entire Shadowreaver Clan.>" Chesire answered her in growls.

"I hope they arn't coming this way," said Eric out loud. She scanned the expense on the wastland looking for the tell tale sign of buggies by the sand being kicked up. And she found some off in the distance.

"The necrolycs?Heh heh..." Alice said, already aware of the large pack of necrolycs moving steadily towards them.

Eric heard the almost quiver of fakeness in Alice's voice. "Have Chesire send them away," she said to the other girl walking towards the dust cloud the buggies threw up.

"Sorry, but that's quite impossible. He's a youth in the pack. He can't tell any of the elders what to do. I'll see if I can persuade them, but I doubt it'll work" Alice said. She took a small flute-like device out of her pocket and held it to her lips. She blew and a haunting sound that resembled the one that Chesire had made came out of it. There was a short silence and then a chorus of howls answered. She blew again, this time weaving a melody with the flute. Again, the Necrolycs answered. She blew it once more and then put it back in her pocket.
"They'll remain at a distance. That's the best I could do. Dred is quite stubborn" she said to the twins.

"Okay," said Eric and Ryan flashed Alice a small smile. She really didn't want a pack of those things coming near.
"How far you think?" Eric asked her twin.
"Half mile perhaps," Ryan said gauging the distance. "But they're moving away," she said a bit glumly.
"No problem," said Eric and gave her sister a toothy grin.
"Er," she warned.
"What?" she asked innocently drawing a dagger from her waist.
"Eric!" said Ryan exasperated. "They could be wastlanders for all we know."
"So, they we know the marauders will find them," said Eric still giving her sister that toothy smile. Ryan rolled her eyes skyward as if asking 'why!' Eric held her dagger out and flashed it in the sun, letting the sunlight bounce off its reflextive serface.
"Was that so hard?" eric asked as the buggies made a b-line for them. Ryan juust had her hand covering her face.

Chesire looked rather disapointed. "<You suck>" he growled to Alice. "<And you don't have opposable thumbs>" Alice replied. |

The buggies came closer. The girls recognized them as marauder ones. They skidded to a hault. Thee jumped out al weilding great swords.
"Tell us why we can't kill you," said one in his native language.
"We are Ericanii and Ryanji of the West ones. I doubt Hifaja would be happy if you killed us," said Eric back at the marauders in their language.
"Excuse us," said the same maudar. "Who is she?" he asked pointing at Alice.
"Alice of Haven. She is with us, you may not harm her," said Ryan. The marauders nodded.

Alice watched the exchange between the twins and the Marauders with interest.
"<I wish I could speak Marauder more fluently>" she said to Chesire.
"<Yeah. Right now you can only say 'Spoon' and 'I demand you tell me where the electronic penguin is'>" Chesire said.
"<I should have you nuetered...>" Alice said threateningly.

"We have to see Jav," said Eric. The marauders nodded.
"We will take you there," said a marauder.
"Alice, they're going to take us where we need to go," said Ryan in normal elven the marauders looked confused. Eric then said to them that they need not worry what they say in that language, they nodded.

"We are going in the buggies, and they are driving," said Eric. The two sisters walked towards the spiked buggies.

Alice decided it was best not to say anything and followed them into the buggies. Chesire growled at one of the Marauders but was silenced by a stern look from Alice.

The twins got into a bugie and moved over so that Alice could get it. "Cheshire will have to follow us," said Eric. "And we know that he can keep up," she finished.

"<Keep up? I could probably get there ten minutes before you!>" Chesire said indignantly.
"<Oh, yes, because you're just sooo amazingly talented. I'm suprised you can actually move with a ego that big>" Alice told him. "<Just follow us and don't do anything stupid>." Chesire growled darkly and waited for the buggies to start moving.

The buggies started and they were soon barreling over the dunes. Chesire following easily.
