"Well thats a bit of oil to the fire," said Thom, but he was covered over by Keira.

"What!! You dumbnuts!!"

[Lord Zaeon]

"He's lying! His stuff was already littered over the ground!" Dax said.

"No it wasn't," Teran said.

[Xazz]

"I see somone got on somones bad side," Thom chuckled.

"Oh shut up, gaylord!" Daxter said. He instantly regretted it as Thom loomed over him like a great dark shadow, his eyes sparking dangerously.

Teran turned away and tried to keep a straight face. He didn't pretty well, showing an emotionless face. It wasn't that Thom had been insulted, the word was just funny.

[Xazz]

"You say somthing, shrimp?" Thom asked his voice laced with enough venom to gag a horse. Daxter gulped and looked like he was about to faint.

"Oh, grow up me'boy!" said a voice. They all turned.

"Te-Teacher!" Keira stamered. "How long have you been there?"

"Long enough to know Teran had his stuff wrecked as sweet talking Ms. Knuckler and that Daxter is far more bark then bite. Also that Thom should get over it, as his sister calls him that all the time!" she said from a ledge above them grinning like a child.

"Teacher," Thom said like a warning.

"Oh, hush, don't make me haul you ove my knee!" she warned but still her smile did not faulter.

[Lord Zaeon]

"Teacher?" Teran asked. "And... how does everyone know that?!"

[Xazz]

"Know what?" asked Teacher.

((yes, her name is Teacher... all will be made clear I assure you))

[Lord Zaeon]

"That I was with Ms. Mia. Thom new it, and you did? How?! You have me bugged or something?" He looked through his clothes.

[Xazz]

"No, I watched you!" she said. "Mia is always fun to watch, especially when there is a boy around, always there will be sparks a'flyin!" and she rocked back on her seat with a laugh.

[Lord Zaeon]

"Watched?" Teran asked aloud. It seemed that only he was confused. "What, in the name of all that is pure, is going on?"

[Xazz]

"That's Teacher," said Thom. "She watches everyone. She likes to, she isn't a stalker or nothing. But if you pick up her interest she'll watch you untill you bore her, quite childish really."

"Thanks Tomtom," said Teacher grinning. Thom sighed.

"See childish."

[Lord Zaeon]

"Well... it's not really childish. Cause if something were to happen to someone that she was watching, she'd be able to help in some way, no?"

[Xazz]

"Yeah, I guess," said Thom. Keira was still chewing out Jak and Daxter and Teacher was watching closly, her mind whirling and comparing.

[Lord Zaeon]

"It must be strange though... always knowing there's a pair of eyes on you..." Teran said.

[Xazz]

"Oh, she gets over it fast. The only person she almost constantly watches is Mia and Jak. Other then that after a few hours to a day or so she watches somone else. But then mostly she don't watch no one and just lazzes around all day."

[Lord Zaeon]

"Well... that's not healthy..." Teran said. "It seems she's a more active form of a hermit."

[Xazz]

"We wish. She's our combat trainer. Jak learned from her, Mia learned from her, Dax a bit, most fighters in this village, hell even I did. She isn't a hermit, she's just in a suspended retirment, though she culd easily kick you ass," he chuckled.

[Lord Zaeon]

"I wouldn't doubt that." Teran said. "But you should never count someone as beaten before you know the extent of their skills. Mind you, I'm not saying I could beat her." Teran said.

[Xazz]

"Good idea," said Thom so Teahcer couldn't hear. "The last person who said they could beat Teacher was handed their ass about three times over. And this dude was like three times bigger then her!"

[Lord Zaeon]

"Well, size really rarely matters in a battle," Teran said.

[Xazz]

"Well said," said Thom. "So Keir, you done with them? Samos told me to come an collect them. Said somthing about Daxter missing the courners," he said a bit confused.

"Stupid log breath," the osstle said to himself.

"Watch your mouth youn man," warned Teacher from her spot before jumping down. At full heigth she was taller then Teran by a good five inches, but she still short on Thom by a good six. "I remember when I could pick you up!" said Teacher. "Stop growin' already!" she said to Thom.

"Comon, Daxter, Jak. Samos is waiting," said Thom. Jak and Dax stayed. "Don't make me carry you back," he threatened. That got them both up, no need to damage their pride, "I'll come back to collect the A-grav later Keir," he promised and usered the elf and osstle away.

Teran saw Teacher eyeing the zoomer with a strange look. It was almost close to longing, but she hid it soon enough with a grin and Teran though he had simly imagined it.
